A person is in Middlemore Hospital with serious injuries after an assault in south Auckland.
Emergency services were called to the address in Regis Park Dr, Pukekohe at 11:30pm on Saturday.
In a statement, police said a man in his 40s had been charged and a scene examination will be carried out on Sunday.
