Police have stood down after a threat to a Wellington building caused it to be evacuated.
Emergency services cordoned off a section of Wellington's waterfront on Wednesday morning after a threat to the PWC building was reported.
A search of the building revealed nothing suspicious, and all cordons have been removed.
Police thanked the public for their cooperation and said an investigation into the threat is underway.
