Cordons are in place at the Auckland Domain following a "sudden death" on Tuesday morning.
Police were notified of the incident at the central Auckland park at 10:12am, and have since blocked off the area surrounding Domain Dr to the public.
An employee at a nearby business told Newshub there was a large police presence at the scene.
A police spokesperson says they are currently making enquiries to establish the circumstances of the death.
However as police are still in the very early stages of enquiries, no further information is available.
