COVID-19: Three cases in managed isolation as India travel ban begins

The Ministry of Health reported three new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, all in managed isolation (MIQ).

Two of those cases flew from India via the United Arab Emirates. The other case flew from Papua New Guinea via Australia.

Sunday marks the first of the two-week ban of travellers arriving from India. These restrictions will remain until April 28.

The source investigation into the Grand Millennium border worker who tested positive for COVID-19 is continuing.

Thirteen of the 15 close contacts have returned negative test results, according to the Ministry of Health.

There is currently one location of interest identified - Bikanervala Bakery, 2 White Swan Road, Mt Roskill on April 7 between 1:30pm and 2:30pm.
