Three ambulance officers are in hospital after a crash in Auckland.

Emergency services rushed to the crash at the intersection of Constellation Dr and Upper Harbour Highway at 12.14pm on Friday.

Andrew Everiss, St John territory manager confirmed to Newshub the ambulance was responding to a patient with its lights and sirens activated at the time of the crash.
