A man has been arrested after a hit and run in Sandringham, Auckland.
The 47-year-old is charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and will appear in the Auckland District Court on Wednesday.
Police also seized a Nissan Pathfinder and the car will be forensically examined.
They are not seeking anyone else in relation to the hit and run which occurred on Sunday morning.
A pedestrian was taken to hospital in serious condition.
