An investigation is underway in the Hamilton suburb of Frankton after an "unexplained death" on Monday morning.
Emergency services were called to an address on Seddon Rd just after 2:30am.
A police spokeswoman confirmed to Newshub the death was under investigation.
Officers are working to determine what happened and conducting a scene examination, she said.
