Ten children have been hospitalised with moderate injuries after a suspected chemical leak at a pool in Upper Hutt.
Five more people under the age of 18 needed medical attention for minor injuries.
Emergency services rushed to H20 Xtreme just before 2pm. A Fire and Emergency spokesperson told Newshub upon arrival the situation escalated to a second alarm, which brought in three more appliances, a command unit and a HAZMAT vehicle.
The pool has been evacuated, but no "obvious" leak has been found.
Police are also on-site, along with Wellington Free Ambulance and WorkSafe.
