A person has been hospitalised with smoke inhalation after a house fire in Martinborough.
Emergency services rushed to the large fire at a house on White Rock Rd at around 1am on Monday morning.
Ten fire crews battled the blazes, which was well underway by the time Fire and Emergency arrived on the scene.
Police remain at the scene and a specialist fire investigator has been called.
