A Hamilton teenager is in a critical condition with gunshot injuries.
Early on Tuesday morning the 16-year-old boy arrived at Waikato Hospital and collapsed shortly afterwards. He remains in hospital in a critical condition.
His family has been informed and is being supported.
Police say they are treating the incident very seriously and are investigating how and where the teen got shot.
