Transport Minister Michael Wood on Friday morning will announce plans for a new cycling and walking bridge across Auckland's harbour.
The $685 million project, part of the New Zealand Upgrade Programme (NZUP) the Government announced in January, is expected to take five or six years to complete.
It's expected Wood will also reveal more transport infrastructure spending.
