One person is injured after a brawl broke out in the small town of Carterton, resulting in the brief closure of a section of State Highway 2.
Police were called to the High St South, Moreton Rd area at 2:30pm on Friday after receiving reports of a group of people fighting.
A police spokesperson told Newshub no arrests have been made.
According to a witness, officers are still at the scene.
As of 4:20pm, SH2 at Moreton Rd has fully reopened.
