Police are investigating an aggravated robbery in Auckland's CBD on Sunday in which a store worker was left with serious injuries.
Det Snr Srgt Steve Anderson from the Auckland City police said two offenders, a male and a female entered a Queen Street liquor store around 7pm.
"A weapon has been presented at the store worker, who has been seriously injured following an altercation with the offenders.
"The victim remains in a stable condition in hospital."
Anderson said the incident was "distressing" for the victim and they are being provided with support.
Police are now appealing to the public for information regarding the robbery and they have released CCTV footage of two people being sought.
