Auckland police launch investigation after shots fired at Māngere home

Auckland Police have launched an investigation after gunshots were fired at a home in Māngere, south Auckland overnight.

A spokesperson told Newshub officers attended the property after members of the public reported hearing gunshots in the Robertson Rd area shortly after midnight on Sunday.

"Upon arrival a residential property was found to have sustained gunshot damage. 

"Nobody was injured in the incident, and no persons of interest were located at the scene."

The property has been secured and a scene investigation  is underway, with police working to determine the circumstances of the incident and identify those responsible.
