Tonight on The Hui, an East Coast iwi is taking healthcare into its own hands since ambulances are too far away and aren't getting to the community in time.
Ngāi Tai is training its people to become first responders and has bought an old ambulance that they hope to do up and get back on the road.
Then, The Hui visits the East Coast to look at the rise of unwanted animals and the work the SPCA is trying to do.
