Fire crews are battling a house fire in the Auckland suburb of New Lynn amid wild weather.
Four crews have been on-site at the two-storey property on Kaweka St since 4.45am, and a Fire and Emergency spokesperson says the home was "well-involved" when they arrived.
It comes as Fire and Emergency battle to respond to a slew of weather-related callouts across the city. In the previous few hours more than 80 calls have been made to crews as gale-force winds tear across the region.
