Four people apprehended by police after west Auckland dairy ram raided

Four people have been apprehended by police after a reported ram-raid of a west Auckland dairy early on Monday morning.

Snr Searagent Alan Rowland said police responded to reports of an incident at a Grey Lynn dairy on Great North Road just after 1am on Monday.

"A vehicle was used to ram the storefront with a quantity of cigarettes being taken during the burglary," he said.

After the report was made, police conducted "a number of enquiries in the area" and the vehicle involved was located.

"Four persons were apprehended by police and they are currently assisting us with our enquiries," Rowland said.
