A man armed with a hammer robbed an Auckland jeweller on Friday night.
Police say they were called just after 7pm to Pascoes at Sylvia Park mall in Mt Wellington.
The man got away in a vehicle. No one was hurt. It's not clear yet how much he managed to steal.
Police are making enquiries.
A number of jewellery store robberies have been reported in Auckland lately, mostly Michael Hill outlets. A month ago two men stole a significant amount of jewellery, as well as a number of personal items such as bags in a brazen robbery of a store in west Auckland's West City mall.
In November a Michael Hill in Pukekohe was hit, footage showing the thieves stumbling as they made their getaway.
