There are no new cases of COVID-19 in the community and four new cases in managed isolation.

There are also two historical cases.

Ten previously reported cases have recovered since Friday, making the number of active cases in New Zealand 39, the Ministry of Health said.

Of the cases in managed isolation, two returned from Australia and tested positive on day 3, one returned from the UK and the other from Hungary via Germany.

The seven-day rolling average of new cases detected at the border is five.

New Zealand's total number of confirmed cases is 2563. A previously reported case has been reclassified as not a case' and has been removed from the total number of confirmed cases.

The Mattina container ship is still quarantined in Bluff and has had no change since Wednesday, the ministry said.
