Police are asking the public for help finding a man who has been missing for four days.
Aritra Basu, 29, was reported missing on Wednesday morning. His car was found at the start of the Tiropahi Track in Charleston, near Westport on the west coast of the South Island.
His friends and family are concerned, Tasman police said on Wednesday.
The track closely follows the Tiropahi River, and is a bit over 5km long.
