Police have launched a hunt after a driver was caught on camera ramming vehicles in the Hobsonville Countdown carpark.
Two cars were damaged in the incident, while the person responsible remains on the run.
In footage from the incident, sounds of large collisions can be heard as a car drives forward into another. It speeds off as people shout and swear.
"Call the police," one person says frantically.
"Oh my god," another exclaims.
Video was subsequently posted to a local community Facebook page before it was deleted.
"There was someone ramming their car into the side of a ute repeatedly," one person said.
A witness told Newshub they could hear the police helicopter making searches for the area at the time. A police spokesperson told Newshub on Monday they didn't find the vehicle.
"Work to locate the vehicle are ongoing and we are following lines of enquiry into this."
