Two seriously injured after altercation at south Auckland address

Two people have been seriously injured and another wounded in an altercation in south Auckland on Tuesday.

Police say they were called to an incident at an Ōtāhuhu address on Great South Road before 2pm.

"An altercation has occurred between people known to each other at the address which has resulted in three people sustaining stabbing injuries," a police spokesperson says.

"Three people were taken to hospital - two of those with serious injuries and the third with moderate injuries."

Police say they are making enquiries into what happened at the address. No charges have been laid at this stage.
