Crews have been kept on their feet overnight as they worked to put out a forest fire in Canterbury.
Emergency services were called to Ashworths Beach Rd in Leithfield just before midnight.
The blaze is 70 by 200 metres, and around 24 firefighters are working to put it out.
A helicopter will be heading to the scene Saturday morning.
