A prominent couple in New Zealand's dairy industry admit it was a gamble when they left their careers to have a crack at growing hops.
That's because they moved to Canterbury instead of the Nelson region that, up until now, has been to home to all of New Zealand's commerical-scale hop gardens.
But the gamble has paid off.
