An investigation is underway after a person was found dead at a burning house in Dunedin.
Fire and Emergency New Zealand says five appliances attended a fire in Kensington, south Dunedin on Friday night after it was reported to authorities at about 10:11pm.
One person was found dead at the scene.
A crew remains there and a fire investigator will attend on Saturday.
