A Kiwi woman has gone missing while in the Netherlands without her bag, passport, phone and wallet - leaving her family extremely worried.

Joanna Ji, 25, is believed to have been missing since April 20.

In a post to Facebook, her family says she was last seen at the Volkshotel in Amsterdam.

Ji's older sister said she and her mother will be flying to Amsterdam from New Zealand as soon as possible to help with the search.

A Givealittle page has since been set up to help fund their flights and to accommodation, print flyers and social media advertising.

It had raised $965 at the time of publishing.

Ji's family aren't sure what she was wearing at the time of her disappearance, but said she often wears a pink beanie.

"Joanna is New Zealand Korean, has dark hair and is about 161 centimeters tall."

Ji's family say they have filed a missing person report with the New Zealand Police, who are liaising with INTERPOL.

A police spokesperson confirmed to Newshub they are working with Dutch authorities through INTERPOL channels.

"NZ Police is also offering assistance to Joanna's family in New Zealand."

Ji's family are asking anyone with information to come forward.
