Armed police have gathered at a street in west Auckland's Massey and have blocked a road near the motorway.
Police told Newshub it all began when a person of interest fled police in a vehicle in Glen Eden at around 7pm on Wednesday.
The vehicle was tracked by the Eagle helicopter to an address in Massey and police are trying to find them.
A witness at the scene told Newshub armed police have blocked off a road near the Northwestern Motorway.
