Police investigating after suspected drive-by shooting leaves house riddled with bullet holes in Papatoetoe, Auckland

Police are investigating after a suspected drive-by shooting left a house riddled with bullet holes in Auckland overnight. 

Police said they were alerted to the shooting on Phoenix Place in Papatoetoe at around 11:20pm on Sunday night. 

Neighbours told Newshub four shots were heard being fired at a property from a vehicle - that then left the scene. 

A police spokesperson said no one was injured in the incident and enquires into the shooting are ongoing to establish what has occurred, including a review of available CCTV footage.

Photos from the scene show an upstairs window of the property full of bullet holes.

"Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police on 105, quoting event number P050660250," a police spokesperson said.

"Information can also be provided anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111."
