Police are investigating after a man was injured on a bus in Auckland on Thursday night.
Emergency services were called to an incident on a bus on Broadway in Newmarket at 9:25pm.
Detective senior sergeant Scott Armstrong told Newshub a 37-year-old man was injured and was treated in hospital. He said his injuries weren't life-threatening.
"Police are currently making enquiries to identify the offender," he said.
St John told Newshub the patient was transported to hospital in a serious condition.
