Three people injured after shooting in South Auckland

Three people have been injured after an incident in South Auckland, early Saturday morning.

Police were called to a property in Favona around 12:15 am on Saturday morning after reports of a gun being fired.

Police found one person had been shot in the thigh and another two people with head injuries.

A police spokesperson does not think the incident was gang-related.

Inquiries into the matter are ongoing.
