An Auckland liquor store has become the latest victim of the city's ram raid epidemic on Thursday morning.

Police confirmed a vehicle was used to gain entry to Liquorland on Jervois Road in Herne Bay at around 3:19am.

An unknown number of offenders took liquor from the store before fleeing from the scene in a vehicle, a police spokesperson said.

Footage from the scene shows glass shattered over the footpath outside the store and the entrance to the store is boarded up.
