Auckland's crime wave has continued overnight with two more stores being burgled in the Super City.

Police officers responded to a ram-raid at Stihl Shop on New North Rd, Mt Albert just before 5:20am on Wednesday.

A police spokesperson said officers were following up with the store about any items that had been taken.

"Anyone who witnessed suspicious activity around this time can contact police on 105 quoting file number 220615/0458."

In an earlier burglary overnight, a Noel Leeming store in Royal Oak was broken into - with the offenders using tools to gain entry.

Officers were called to the store on Pah Rd after 3am.

"Around 3:10am a vehicle was used to force entry to an external gate," police said.

"The offenders then used tools to break into a retail store."

When officers arrived at the scene the offenders fled in a vehicle, causing minor damage to a police car.

A second vehicle left at the scene was confirmed to be stolen, police said.

Anyone with information into the Noel Leeming robbery was urged to contact police on 105, quoting file number 220615/0401.
