One person has been injured in a fire in Motueka, while others had to be rescued from a balcony.
Emergency services were called to the building on Greenwood Street at 8:25am after reports of people being trapped on the balcony
Police said one person is injured and is receiving medical attention at the scene.
The fire is not thought to be suspicious at this time and a FENZ fire investigator is travelling to the scene, police said.
