A man has been arrested as part of a homicide investigation in Auckland.
Detective Senior Sergeant Mike Hayward said on Tuesday police arrested a 26-year-old as part of the investigation.
"He has been charged with the murder of Jashandeep Singh, aged 29, who was allegedly assaulted on 15 May 2022."
The homicide investigation was launched after the man died in Auckland City Hospital in early June. He was injured during a "disorder incident" on Orchard Rise, Rosehill.
Police said at the time they believed both parties knew each other.
The 26-year-old man will appear in the Manukau District Court on Wednesday.
