Police launch homicide investigation after 37-year-old man found in critical condition in Auckland dies

Police have launched a homicide investigation after a 37-year-old man died after he was found in a critical condition in Auckland. 

Benjamin Kimball-James Mcintosh was found in a critical condition on Glendale Road in Glen Eden at 8:20am on Friday. 

He was taken to Auckland Hospital and underwent surgery but later died from his injuries. 

A police spokesperson said investigators are in the early stages of piecing together what happened to Mcintosh but are asking anyone with information to come forward. 

"We ask anyone who has any information, or saw something in the area at around the time of the incident that may assist us with our enquiries, to contact Police."
