One person has been hospitalised with serious injuries following a shooting in west Auckland overnight.
A police spokesperson told Newshub they were called to a Metcalfe Road address in Rānui at 10pm on Sunday night.
Footage captured by Newshub shows armed police and red tape surrounding the home.
The spokesperson added a police presence remains at the property, with a scene investigation due to take place later this morning.
Police are asking anyone with information that may help find the offender/offenders to contact police on 105.
