Police have recovered the body of a woman whose car plunged into the Manukau Harbour.
Police said in a statement the woman's body was found submerged inside her vehicle, by the national police dive squad on Thursday evening.
Police said emergency services responded to an incident where a vehicle entered the water near Coronation Road in Māngere Bridge at around 4:45pm on Thursday.
The vehicle was also recovered by the dive squad and the serious crash unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash.
