A Wellington man is in a serious condition after his adventurous attempts to run from police.
Wellington police officers attended a Paraparaumu address on Saturday morning to trespass a man who then resisted cops and, in a rogue move, rolled off a balcony.
A police spokesperson said in a statement to Newshub on Saturday the man then ran into the ocean.
The man was then retrieved from the sea and taken to hospital in a serious condition.
