When the clock strikes 2am on Sunday morning, clocks in Aotearoa will move an hour forward marking the start of daylight saving.

As with every year, daylight saving starts on the last Sunday in September - signalling the start of warmer months.

It'll mean our mornings are technically darker and the evenings are lighter, perfect for summer activities.

Daylight saving lasts seven months and will end at 3am on the first Sunday in April.
