As the sun rises in Auckland its unveiled a parked ute in shallow water in Little Shoal Bay.
Police responded to the ute stuck in partially shallow water at 7:03am on Friday.
Pictures show the ute looking a little out of place, surrounded by anchored boats.
A police spokesperson told Newshub the vehicle is empty and their enquires are ongoing.
