20yo charged with man's murder in Dunedin

A 20-year-old man has been charged with murder after a man died in Momona, Dunedin yesterday afternoon.

He will appear in Dunedin District Court tomorrow, police said in a statement.

The man was arrested after another man died, following a serious assault.

A scene examination was completed today, while police continue investigating the circumstances of the incident.

Police urge anyone with information to contact them on 105, quoting file number 221015/0688.
