The family of three children who went missing with their father nearly a year ago are offering a $10,000 reward for information.

They have not been seen since they went missing with their father Thomas Philips on December 9, 2021.

Desperate family started fundraising to offer a reward for information last month. On Wednesday night, they said they were now able to offer $10,000.

"In September, a Givealittle page was created to help raise funds towards this reward, we are extremely grateful for all those who donated and helped to raise a total of $4598.40 towards our $10,000 goal," the family said.

"Unfortunately this has fallen short of our original goal but as a family we have been able to gather the remainder."

The family said the reward would be offered for any information that leads to the safe return of the three children.

Philips and his three children originally went missing for three weeks in September last year, sparking a 17 day search before they eventually returned home - having spent all that time in the bush.

The father was later charged with causing wasteful deployment of police personnel and resources, before he and the children disappeared again last December.

Philips had a warrant out for his arrest after he failed to appear in the Te Kūiti District Court on those charges earlier this year.
