A 30-year-old woman is due in court on Friday after someone was critically injured in a stabbing in Auckland.
The woman was arrested after officers were called to Orakei Rd, in the central Auckland suburb of Remuera, just after 1pm.
When officers arrived they found one person with critical injuries who was transported to hospital.
Later on Thursday, the woman was taken into custody. She is due to appear in Auckland District Court on Friday charged with wounding and unlawfully taking a motor vehicle.
The victim is still recovering in hospital in a stable condition.
