A busy Auckland highway has been partially closed after a crash brought down powerlines.
Mt Wellington Highway is closed between Te Horeta Rd and Waipuna Rd, Auckland Transport said in a tweet. The crash happened just before 1pm on Wednesday.
"Follow the directions of emergency services in the area and expect delays."
A number of buses have been forced to detour around the area.
St John said no one was injured in the crash.
Police also warned there will be delays in the area.
"Some signalled intersections have been affected by the incident," a spokesperson said.
"Police advise motorists to allow extra time travelling through the area, and to adhere to the road rules if they are travelling through a signalled intersection that has lost power."
