Auckland commuters are facing delays on Monday morning after three separate crashes brought traffic to a standstill.
Waka Kotahi said the right southbound lane of the southwestern motorway between Walmsley Rd and Massey Rd was blocked at 6:30am after a crash.
Later, a crash blocked the right southbound lane on the northern motorway after the Northcote Rd off-ramp at 7:15am.
Meanwhile a third crash caused more chaos when it blocked the southbound lanes of the southern motorway after the Penrose Rd overbridge.
Waka Kotahi said while all the crashes have now been cleared, there is still heavy traffic and delays are expected.
