A man in his 70s remains in a critical condition following a motorcycle crash in Pukekohe, south of Auckland.
The Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust said the man was flown to Auckland City Hospital after he was involved in the crash at Pukekohe Racetrack at about midday on Sunday.
Hato Hone St John confirmed they were also called to the incident. They responded with one ambulance, one rapid response vehicle and one helicopter.
Te Whatu Ora Auckland confirmed the man is still in a critical condition. No other injuries were reported, police said.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing, police added, and WorkSafe has been advised.
