Napier sword shop ram raided by 'group of youths'

A shop in Napier's CBD has been ram-raided on Monday morning.

The King of Swords shop,  which sells medieval weapons including swords and daggers, on Napier's Emerson street was broken into at around 3:10am.

In a statement on Monday police said a vehicle was used to gain access to the store.

"A group of youths are reported to have got out of the vehicle and entered the store," police said.

Police are making enquiries into the incident to identify and find the offenders.
