Three men have been arrested in Tokoroa after an alleged shooting incident yesterday.
A police spokesperson said they received reports of shots being fired in the Jim Currie Reserve at 11:30pm last night.
Later in the night, police stopped a vehicle and found four guns.
Four people were taken into custody and three have been charged with unlawfully possessing ammunition and unlawfully carrying a firearm.
