In the early hours of February 20, Sullivan got into an argument with Moore.

The pair had reportedly been drinking heavily and during the argument, Sullivan got into a rage, picked up a knife and allegedly stabbed Moore on the side, according to court documents.

Moore received a "significant" stab wound to his left side and was taken to South Lincoln Medical Centre where he died from his injuries, according to court documents.

Sullivan was also transported to the same hospital, before police arrived at the scene, with a self-inflicted knife wound to her wrist.

At the hospital, Sullivan said she had stabbed Moore and was placed under arrest while at the hospital.

Court documents show Sullivan told police she and Moore argued at a party where Moore was being verbally abusive.

Sullivan went "into a rage", grabbed a knife and made stabbing motions towards Moore, but he was standing closer than she thought, and he was stabbed, court documents said.

Sullivan has been charged with second-degree murder and is currently in jail in the rural town of Kemmerer.

A $500,000 bond has been set for Monique Sullivan’s bail from a Wyoming jail after she was accused of killing her boyfriend.

If convicted, Sullivan would serve 20 years to life in prison.

Bond has been set at $500,000 and Sullivan was also required to surrender her passport, according to local news outlet SVINews.com.

A Givealittle page has been created to raise money to bring Moore's body home and funeral expenses.

The Givealittle page has so far raised just under $30,000 as of Monday morning.
