Police ask public for help finding man wanted for kidnapping and wounding with intent

Police are asking the public for help in finding a man who is wanted for kidnapping and wounding with intent.

Mitchell Turner, 35, is wanted in relation to an incident on Bentley Ave, Glenfield in Auckland on February 2.

Detective Senior Sergeant Nick Poland said police have a warrant for Turner's arrest and believe he is in the Auckland region.

Det Snr Sgt Poland said police are asking anyone with information on Turner's whereabouts to call them.

"Turner should not be approached and if you sight him, please call Police on 111."

Det Snr Sgt Poland also wanted to remind people if anyone is found assisting the 35-year-old, they could also face charges.
